I was thinking something defensive? Could be supersoldier, shield generation, idk. Sort of going with the way everything is walled up in Ireland. Or possibly some sort of power to sedate people in some way? Like a temporary paralysis/disorientation/nullification. Maybe that one would need to be through touch only since it's a bit godmoddy.

ANYWAY YES hm kilkenny. Depends if you think this operative role could be a really old one? I am currently getting really geeky about the origins of different Orders so I can definitely see Kilkenny as one of the older ones. Or maybe even one of the big three - Ireland is still lacking the core power distribution/mnemokinesis/telepathy trio if you're interested? If not, then I think supersoldier or shield generation would both be really good options to go with.
Generally we don't do nullification because, yeah, that reason. Plus I think if one Order had a power nullifier then they would ALL HAVE THEM in some kind of hideous arms race... idk. It would get complicated and might make a good future thing to look in to but yeah. Kilkenny is probably better off being something else for now!
Well, I was talking with Maria before, and I think we came up with maybe he had a sedation power? Goes along with walls + brewery that Kilkenny is famous for, loosely, and thought it would be a good operative power if someone could make civilians feel sedated when operations were happening near them.
We thought an area of effect would be best for this power, and works better on normal humans than operatives, though obvs strong-minded or really angry people are the exception/harder. And maybe he has a paralytic touch if needed? Temporary, and needs to keep physical contact with the aforementioned person to continue to keep them paralyzed. Thinking he is used to go into more local situations rather than wars and take care of issues that happen in public.
